Our aspiration is for The Crown to be the destination restaurant and the place to eat in Basingstoke! Our head chefs, Tom Wilson and Chris Barnes have both experienced life in international restaurants including the award-winning Avenue at Lainston House and the Michelin-starred JSW in Petersfield.
Their overwhelming passion for food is reflected in our restaurant menus, where they've created a fantastic selection of dishes which we hope will make The Crown somewhere you'll come back to, and recommend to others as one of the best Basingstoke restaurants to eat at.

The Crown will be co-hosting The Queens jubilee celebrations on The Street in Old Basing. Come along and enjoy a delicious BBQ cooked by Tom and Chris.
There will also be a Pimms tent and lots of activities for the whole family!

It's Father's day, so why not treat dad to a special lunch here at The Crown, he will even get the pint of his choice too from the selection that we have.

The Crown Golf Day @ Dummer
Tuesday 24th July
Arrive at Dummer Golf Club at 12 noon for a bacon buttie and a coffee before setting off around the fabulous Dummer golf course playing Texas Scramble.
Once you have finished your round you can relax at The Golf Club before returning to The Crown to enjoy the Chef's famous Warm flaked and rolled ham hock with crown chips and fried eggs.
£31.00 per per person to include a round of golf, bacon buttie, a beer and a meal at The Crown. £5.00 of each ticket will be donated to charity
